Paula Pía Díaz

Hi, I’m Pía! I was born and raised in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, but I currently live in Mexico City. I’m a Mexican 18 year old senior at Tecnológico de Monterrey, and I´m looking forward to get into Law School here. I have always liked public speaking and oral challenges, for which I have been in several plays, UN models, practical trials, and even Stand Up Comedy! I am profound fan of arts, and I also like spending time outdoors and sports. I have practiced soccer, volleyball, lacrosse and others, but volleyball is by far my favorite. As well, I really enjoy social service and volunteering; I was the sub-coordinator of TECHO, which is a nongovernmental organization which fights poverty and its diverse consequences, to which I motivated and persuaded friends to join the group.

As an international experience, I lived in Berlin, Germany, and I learned about cultural and diversity awareness, I was able to adapt to a new culture, organize and schedule my time, practiced a new language by verbal and body communication in a foreign country.

I consider myself enthusiastic, resilient and friendly to others, and I hope I can continue meeting new people who can make me grow as a person.
