Paul Bankson

I was born and raised in Birmingham, AL and graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Business Administration. It was at Auburn I met my wife of 27+ years, Connie.
After college, I attended Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS and graduated with a Masters of Divinity and began ministry with Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) the campus ministry of the PCA.
After 8 years and two campuses with RUF- Tennessee-Martin and Mercer respectively- I became an Assistant Pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Macon, GA.
In 2004 my family and I moved to Warner Robins to plant Houston Lake Presbyterian Church where I continue to serve as Pastor.
Connie and I have 3 great sons, one a graduate of Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, TN, another a Junior there, while we still get to keep one at home!
In December 2014 I completed my Doctor of Ministry degree at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL. The title of my dissertation was, "Illustrating and Applying the Gospel in Sermons Using the Fiction of C.S. Lewis"
I enjoy camping, reading, grilling on my Big Green Egg, and following Auburn sports- War Eagle!
