As the Innovations Developer at Futureworx, a community non-profit in Truro, Nova Scotia, I have the priviledge of developing new programs and tools that help people with multiple barriers to employment create stable connections to the workforce. In particular, I play a central role in the development and use of the Employability Skills Assessment Tool, ESAT, which helps us assess, develop and track nine key 'soft' skills like attitude, adaptability and confidence. Seeing ESAT change lives is a wonderfully rewarding experience.

On my own time I am an avid cook and photographer, and continue to struggle with my first novel, Calamity Incorporated, an irreverant look at heaven being forced to adapt to the realities of the corporate world.
