An award-winning medical doctor, Paul C. Kuo, MD, has earned designations as a “Top Doctor” according to Chicago Magazine and one of “America’s Top Surgeons” according to the Consumers’ Research Council of America. He has also won an American Society of Transplant Surgeons Roche Presidential Award, an International Liver Transplant Society/LICAGE Joint Congress Fellow’s Prize, and several honors as an author of medical textbooks. Over the course of his career, Paul C. Kuo, MD, has served multiple educational, research, and clinical practice positions with the Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois, and the Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.

Dr. Paul C. Kuo currently resides in Tampa, Florida, where he chairs the Department of Surgery for the University of South Florida and serves as surgeon-in-chief at Tampa General Hospital. He also provides surgical services as a member of the United States Army Reserve Medical Corps and is a member and past president of the Society of Asian Academic Surgeons.
