Paul Daugerdas has held numerous significant roles in prestigious financial, legal, and accounting organizations, marking a remarkable professional journey. He commenced his career as a staff member at Arthur Andersen & Co., gradually ascending the ranks to become a partner in 1984. From 1974 to 1994, he assumed various pivotal positions, including membership in the Mergers, Acquisitions & Reorganizations Tax Specialty Team, where his expertise in M&A thrived. As the Head of the Central Region Financial Markets Team, Daugerdas exercised oversight over both tax and audit personnel involved in handling an extensive range of financial instruments and products, such as commodities, futures, stocks, bonds, swaps, and a diverse array of over-the-counter financial instruments.

Moreover, Daugerdas was responsible for leading the Chicago Office "On Call" Team while being an esteemed member of the Financial Valuation Services Specialty Team during his tenure at Arthur Andersen & Co.

In 1994, Daugerdas embarked on a new chapter of his professional journey, joining the Law Offices of Altheimer & Gray as a partner. In this capacity, he assumed the Head of the Tax Department role and became an invaluable member of the Steering Committee. From 1999 to 2002, he held the position of Shareholder/Partner at the Law Offices of Jenkens & Gilchrist, where he skillfully managed the Chicago office and co-directed the Tax Practice. Notably, Daugerdas also served as a member of the Management Advisory Committee during his tenure at Jenkens & Gilchrist, showcasing his exceptional business acumen.
