Paul de Bruijn is a business and IT transformation professional with 25+ years of experience in the Insurance industry and Public Sector. He held senior executive positions in corporate organizations in the Netherlands and Asia responsible for IT & business operations and complex digital transformation. He has extensive experience covering management of operations, IT and project management departments, business and IT consulting, change management in Operations and IT, program and project management of large and complex IT implementations.

Paul was COO and CIO of AXA Netherlands, CIO of Dutch Ministry of Employment, Dutch National Police and AXA Asia General Insurance. These CIO positions included the responsibility of the delivery of the strategic and non-strategic projects in the respective organisations. In other positions Paul was responsible for PMO, change and transformation departments and led himself big strategic programs including the delivery of the Dutch “Schengen” system, Digital distribution solution for Bharti AXA in India and other AXA Asia countries, Target Operating model transformation in AXA Asia. Furthermore Paul held the position of Director Operations & IT transformation in a Dutch management consultancy firm and is the founder of TransInsure, a Singapore based, Consultancy Company specialized in Digital Insurance Transformation. Paul is currently head of the change and transformation department of AIG APAC.

Paul is specialised in Digital Insurance Transformation and is, based on documented experience, able to support organisations to define a clear digital strategy, concept, operating model, IT architecture, technology specifications and agile software development and deployment methodology. Paul has extensive experience in delivering complex transformation programs and projects in corporate organisations.
