Passionate about gastronomy and its power to connect cultures, I’ve built a career at the intersection of food, education, and entrepreneurship. In 2010, I co-founded an event production company — recognized with a Guinness World Record — focused on culinary experiences such as the Coffee & Chocolate Expo. I was also a partner in a distribution company specializing in gourmet products made in the Caribbean.
My curiosity and love for learning have led me to earn certifications as a barista (Specialty Coffee Association), bartender (International Bartenders Association), and to study at the Culinary Institute of America. I also completed a diploma program at the Centro de Estudios sobre el Maguey y Mezcal, where I became certified as a promoter of traditional mezcal culture.
From this journey, Club Mezcal was born — an educational platform based in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico, dedicated to spreading awareness about the richness of agave. This initiative led to the creation of Agave Imports LLC, an import and distribution company specializing in agave-based products. In 2025, I launched Tres Santos, my own brand of artisanal mezcal offering several expressions designed to celebrate and share the culture of this iconic Mexican spirit.
I'm also the author of three books, a TEDx speaker, and have contributed to FM radio segments and culinary publications. I’m constantly seeking new ways to tell stories through flavor.
