Paul E González Mangual is a writer from the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico. Since a very young age, he has been fascinated by the world of poetry, writing and food.

While studying entrepreneurship at the University of Puerto Rico he co-created and was chief editor of the business journal ‘El Mundo Empresarial’. In 2009, he published, through the Editorial Argüeso & Garzón, his first poetry book ‘Extractos de mi diario’.

At the time he was developing his business ventures, his writing became a part-time hobby, but he was always prepared with pen and paper in hand. In 2010, he co-founded Cube Group Events, a Guinness World Record holder company dedicated to the production of high impact cultural and social-economic events like the Coffee & Chocolate Expo. He was also a Partner and VP of Puerto Rico Gourmet Products, an award winning distribution company of gourmet products made in the Caribbean.

His passion for writing kick-started again in 2014 when he started a gratitude blog, writing daily thank-you notes that a year later translated into his second book, ‘Thankious’. More than a book, Thankious is a movement born to engage everyone in developing a culture of gratitude. As the face of the movement, Paul has been a speaker at TEDx, Social Media Week, SHRM, among other companies and universities and has been featured in all local media outlets.

For the last couple of years, he has been a blogger for the gastronomic guides Sal! and Dos Tazas, and is a monthly contributor for the Opinion section of the national newspaper El Nuevo Día. In the summer of 2018, he founded a new venture combining his passion for writing and food to create, FOODIEcations -a food tourism agency for foodies who love to travel and travel to eat.
