Paulette Livers is the author of the novel Cementville (Counterpoint Press), winner of the Elle magazine Lettres Prize, a finalist for the Center for Fiction's Flaherty-Dunnan First Novel Prize, and shortlisted for Chicago Writers Association Book of the Year. She has received awards and fellowships from Artcroft Foundation, Aspen Writers Foundation, Center for the American West, Denver Women’s Press Club, Squaw Valley Community of Writers, Vermont Studio Center, and Virginia Center for Creative Arts. The recipient of the Meyerson Prize for Fiction, her work has appeared in SouthwestReview, The Dos Passos Review, Spring Gun Press, Bound Off, and elsewhere. She is represented by Michelle Brower of Folio Literary Management. Livers is Creative Director at Mighty Sword Studio, where she helps writers and artists prepare their work for publication. Amember of PEN America, Livers lives in Chicago.
