Paul Finlay

Paul Finlay is an electronic music producer and synthesizer enthusiast whose work bridges the organic and the experimental. Originally from the North East of England, he now calls Vancouver, BC, home. Blending modular, analog, and digital synthesizers, Finlay crafts intricate, immersive compositions that thrive equally in studio recordings and dynamic live performances. His soundscapes are defined by a balance of technical precision and raw, exploratory energy.

As one half of the electronic duo CHXMERAS, alongside musician and CBC broadcaster Jarrett Martineau, Finlay explores collaborative storytelling through sound. Their work, including the album *Terminal City* who premiered their live performance at Mutek 2024 and RANGE Magazine hailed Terminal City as a "multilayered cinematic masterpiece" that "commands your full attention"
