Hire me

I am an Internet entrepreneur with nearly 20 years’ entrepreneurial and business experience. In that time I have amassed a varied CV working with large organisations, as well as working with organisations such as the University of Liverpool, Banco de España and the Carphone Warehouse Group.

I started my first Internet business whilst still at high school, and after completing a degree course in my other passion, Modern European Languages, I launched a company providing outsourced web and IT support services to home and business customers in and around Merseyside.

A few years later I launched Innobella Media, a creative digital media agency providing corporate video production alongside other web services such as catch-up media streaming distributed via a global content delivery network. I come from a family with rich film & video heritage; my grandfather was an early pioneer in lighting technology for ciné film production and was the inventor of the world’s first ever floodlight.

Alongside my work with Innobella Media, I work with other small and medium-sized businesses providing consultancy services and holding Non-Executive Director positions. In 2015, I was approached by the business incubatorLaunch22 Liverpool to become their Entrepreneur-in-Residence, acting as a mentor and giving start-up advice to new businesses and budding local entrepreneurs. I also enjoy volunteer and charity work with various church-run youth groups and summer camps.

In the past I have been seen giving talks at the likes of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), British Computer Society (BCS) and #IoTLiverpool groups on a variety of technology and Internet of Things related subjects.

I grew up in Droitwich Spa, near Birmingham, where I attended King Edward’s School in Edgbaston and studied Physics and Electronic Systems & Control alongside French and Spanish to AS/A Level. I earned my BA in Modern European Languages from the University of Liverpool, a degree course which saw me spend time living and working in both Marseille, France and Madrid, Spain.
