Paul Geoghegan

Paul Geoghegan has been a professional stage and screen actor for almost thirty years and has performed extensively throughout Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA, Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador. In that time Paul has appeared before a wide variety of audiences—including the Canadian and American Air Forces—in a wide variety of productions from Shakespeare’s TWELFTH NIGHT to Queensland Opera’s ELIXIR OF LOVE. His haunting portrayal of Pontius Pilate earned him an acting award in California. Paul can currently be seen touring Australia as Basil Fawlty in the interactive Fawlty Towers The Dining Experience. Paul has appeared in numerous commercials and screen projects working alongside talented people such as director Darwin Brooks and actor Josh Hartnett. Some of his recent credits include roles in feature films KILLER SMILE, THE SUICIDE THEORY, and SLEEPER, video short HEADSMEN, telemovie THE DIGGER, and documentary YOUR WORST ANIMAL NIGHTMARES. He has also lent his talents behind the scenes directing web series QUEERSLAND and short film CHOOK AND MAUREEN, and as a crew member for THE LOVERS. Always willing to share his exceptional dedication to his craft, Paul has spent many years paying it forward by teaching the next generation of actors in Australia, Canada and the USA. And while he values his experience working behind the scenes as director, editor and camera man, Paul’s true love is and always has been performing. And he will not stop till he reaches the stars.
