I'm a rather proud West Virginian, as indicated by both my karaoke song choice and the map hanging in my bedroom.
I call Maryland home now, but am never too far from the Country Roads that take me home.
I go to work each day hoping I can tell a cool story about somebody. Although I have not one shred of musical ability, I'm classified in my business as a "one man band." I shoot, produce, write and edit all of my stories.
My most memorable assignment was traveling to Haiti in 2011 as part of a five-part series documenting the charity work of Naples, Florida-based Hope For Haiti. It earned an Associated Press award for Series Reporting.
Pet peeves include grotesque grammatical errors (see here), not holding the door open for others, and littering.
