Paul Golding

Paul is a widely respected and unassuming technologist and innovator with 24 patents. He authored one of the first books about mobile applications and invented key technologies used inside mobile phones. He has been Chief Architect, CTO and various senior roles for companies across the world, from start-ups to multi-nationals. He started one of the first mobile apps companies in Europe.

Lately, he starts and runs "labs" within existing companies, utilizing a variety of adapted start-up techniques. He is currently Director of Labs at Art.com, the world's biggest online art company (and is also their Chief Scientist). Prior to that, he set up labs at O2 (UK) and Motorola.

He works in Silicon Valley, but is originally from the UK. He has three kids who follow independent and innovative education programs. Paul is passionate about innovation in education and technology as a force for good in the world.
