Paul Hollands

Paul Hollands is the Chairman of the Board of A&W Food Services of Canada Inc. He joined A&W in 1980/1981 and held various executive roles, including Vice President, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, President (2002-2015), and Chief Executive Officer (2005-2018) before retiring as CEO. He was instrumental in the company's marketing, operations, franchising, and development, and was part of the group that bought the brand from Unilever in 1995. Hollands is a past Chairman of Restaurants Canada and the Canadian Association of Income Funds. He also served as past Chair of the Faculty Advisory Board of the Sauder School of Business and Director and past Chair of St. Paul's Hospital Foundation. Currently, he is a Director and Chair of the Board of Vendasta Technologies Ltd., a Director of the Open Road Auto Group Ltd., a Director of Bakers Delight Holdings Ltd., and a member of the Advisory Board of Northland Properties Limited. He is a recipient of Canada's national Top 40 Under 40 Leadership Award and was recognized as B.C. CEO of the Year for 2015. His recent projects include the revitalization of the Naramata Inn, launched in 2020.
