I am a photography graduate from South West. I have been interested in image making since my parents first let me use a point and shoot plastic camera with colour film. My roots (originally from Poland) allow me to see the everyday life in UK from a different perspective and capture it on film and camera in order to show the real beauty in the mundane reality. I am genuinely fascinated with how the art of the everyday unconsciously affects us and helps us keep the memories and experiences in our minds. Photography is a way of investigation the relationships between the photograph, viewer and the author.
Besides the everyday I really enjoy finding and photographing real and dream like stories that any viewer can relate to on a personal level through their own state of mind and general knowledge. I am hoping to create a portfolio that would be suitable for book covers in agencies such as Millennium. My passion lies in object and landscape photography combined with narrative and interventional intend. I work using different types of equipment, but I prefer medium format and colour film because of its authenticity and detail they allow me to achieve. I also enjoy using a scanner as another artistic device.
