My passion for communications spans over 15 years in both private and public sector environments. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to make positive contributions while managing and directing a multitude of internal and external communications teams and functions for globally dispersed, culturally diverse audiences. Currently, I am the Manager of Strategic Communications and Marketing at the Ontario Ministry of Revenue. In my spare time, I enjoy being an advocate and member of IABC/Toronto. I have been an active volunteer with IABC since 2009 and have held many volunteer positions such as: director of programming for PIC (Professional Independent Communicators), director of accreditation, awards judge, accreditation exam proctor and mentor. Testament to my dedication and commitment as a mentor, I was the proud recipient of IABC/Toronto’s 2009/2010 “Mentor of the Year” award. And, most recently was appointed Vice President of Membership for IABC/Toronto. I am thrilled to be working alongside a talented group of communications professionals for the largest chapter in th world.
