Performance-driven storyteller with many years of experience in Films, Series, TV, Documentaries, Commercials.

Paulina is a mexican film and video international awarded Director with deep passion for images, and knowledge of all stages of film and digital production process. She has worked with the Oscar winners Alejandro G. Iñarritu and Vittorio Storaro.

Paulina studied a B.A. in Communicationsat International University, then she graduated with honours as Film Director from CCC Film School, ranked as one of the best 20 International Film Schools(The hollywood reporter)

Paulina was DAAD Scholarship-holder at the Film University Babelsberg, Germany, specializing in Documentary Filmmaking.

Her film 'Two out of three' has been selected in 47 film festivals around the world and has received 7 awards.

She was selected by Emir Kusturica as one of the best new latin American directors of 2013. In 2015 her film 'Oak leaves'(advised by the Film Director Bèla Tarr) was selected in more than 15 International Film Festivals.

Her feature length documentary 'That Place Called Babylon'got theDocsLab Award from the National Association of Latino Independent Producers in USA and the International Documentary Film Festival of Mexico City.

Paulina also studied contemporary cultural anthropology at UNC, Argentina, and has received the National Fund for Culture and Arts (Mexico, 2020).She has complementary studies in "Feminist Film Theory" and is specialist in Non sexist Narratives and female characters.

The Sundance Institute and CCC-IMCINE invited her to be part of the“Directing the actors”workshop, conducted by Joan Darling & Bertha Navarro.

Her first feature film “Li-Xu's Dream” received the mexican film institute (IMCINE) scriptwriters grant 2021.

Currently she works as a freelancer for several production companies.
