Greetings, I’m Pauline. I’m studying Sociology at the Anton de Kom University of Suriname. I am a fan of art, music, dance and education. I'm currently Project Assistant at the VIDS, that is an Indigenous Organization in Suriname.
The mission of VIDS is to strengthen traditional indigenous authority and indigenous leadership, obtaining legal recognition of native land rights and other rights, greater self-employment and regional cooperation between indigenous villages and regions, and enhanced participation in political and other socio- social policy processes.
