Hello! I am a Chinese Canadian living in Toronto, having moved here when I was 12 years old. I recently received my MSc degree in epigenetic neuroscience and am an academically published author. I became a Muslim in 2006 shortly after meeting my fiancé, and decided to start wearing hijab in June 2012. I am an active member of the Palestinian solidarity movement and in my spare time, I blog about life, love, religion, science, fashion, beauty, and any other topics that interest me. I often dream about travelling the world, adopting Palestinian or Chinese children, and having one (or two) ragdoll cats.
