About Me

Have a look at my Instagram page here.

I started learning the piano when I was 5 then went to the academy of music when I was 7. I subsequently got my diploma from the academy of music (both in piano and music theory). Later on, I learned drums and the clarinet, and also studied piano accompaniment at the academy of music where I learned to read and play chords.

Among other things, I also played in an orchestra (playing the piano, drums and the clarinet), started my own choir, accompanied several choirs, created a show with 25 singers in Belgium, and played in a rock band (playing drums) and a banda (playing the clarinet).

I've taught several people over the years, from children to teenagers and adults, teaching them music theory along the piano.

You can listen to my piano compositions on https://soundcloud.com/pauline-heggen or watch me play here.

Other than that, I am also an actor and work as a translator/proofreader for Transperfect.

Lessons

I have a flat conveniently located in W2 and a Roland FP30 (details available here) to teach. I will provide all necessary documents (music theory and music sheets).

Don't hesitate to send me an email at [email protected] for more information.

Testimonials

“After 30 minutes, Pauline has already shown me a lot of things to work on. Thank you for your patience, your teaching skills and your professionalism.”

“Learning music theory has always been a challenge for me, but thanks to Pauline, this experience has become not only enriching but also incredibly enjoyable. Her patience, teaching method and passion for music have enabled me to understand concepts that previously seemed insurmountable. Pauline has a unique ability to make things clear and accessible, while injecting positive energy into every lesson.”

“You couldn’t ask for a better piano teacher than Pauline! Pauline explains, demonstrates and, above all, takes her time, which is important when you’re just starting out. She pays attention to our movements and corrects us straight away to prevent us from picking up bad habits. At the end of each session, she gives us exercises to practise before the next lesson. Everything is done with a smile and in a friendly atmosphere. It’s a real pleasure to take piano lessons with her.”
