Paul Klein, named a “Top Lobbyist” by the National Institute for Lobbying & Ethics in 2023 and 2025, is a trusted authority in government relations and public affairs. He has led landmark legislation on insurance reform, police funding, interstate compacts, and public school resources, and has helped elect candidates in local, state, and congressional races.

In the 2025 legislative session, Klein and his team secured major wins despite a divided government. For the Nevada Dental Association, he advanced external claim reviews, hygienist licensing, and faster payments. For the Nevada Physical Therapy Board, he secured passage of the Physical Therapy Compact, disability parking certification, and loan repayment inclusion. For the Nevada Police Union, he won salary increases, streamlined bargaining, standardized sick leave, and a wellness task force.

Klein also serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Nevada, teaching Advocacy and Political Movements, Political Campaigns, and State and Local Governments. Ranked among the university’s top professors, he received the University Foundation’s “Exceptional Teaching” award in 2023 and 2025.

He holds a pre-law Criminal Justice degree and an MBA from the University of Nevada. His background includes roles as global creative director at White Rabbit Group and communications manager for the City of Reno. He served as a Reno City Commissioner from 2007 to 2011 and currently chairs the City of Reno Redevelopment Agency Advisory Board and the National Student Advertising Competition, while serving as vice-chair of the Reno Aquatic Club Board.

His honors include an Emmy for the documentary Prescription for Hope: Overcoming Nevada’s Opioid Epidemic, the 2010 Twenty Under 40 Award, University of Nevada Young Alumnus of the Year, and multiple Addy, Savvy, Ace, Marcom, and Hermes awards.
