Paul Klein, honored as a "Top Lobbyist" by the National Institute for Lobbying & Ethics in both 2023 and 2025, stands as a trusted authority in government relations and public affairs. He has spearheaded landmark legislation, including insurance reform, record-high state police funding, interstate compacts, and funding for public schools. As a seasoned campaign strategist, Klein has helped elect candidates across local, state, and congressional races.

In an exceptional 2025 legislative session, Klein and his team skillfully navigated a Democratic-majority Legislature and Republican governor's office to secure transformative wins for several clients. Standouts included his healthcare advocacy: for the Nevada Dental Association, establishing an external review process for claim denials, hygienist licensing, and faster claim payments; for the Nevada Physical Therapy Board, ratifying the Physical Therapy Compact—the only interstate compact of several proposed to pass—along with disability parking certification and loan repayment inclusion; and for the Nevada Police Union, securing salary increases, streamlined bargaining, standardized sick leave, and a wellness task force.

Amid lobbying and campaigns, Klein also serves as an adjunct professor in the University of Nevada’s Department of Political Science, teaching his popular courses Advocacy and Political Movements; Political Campaigns; and State and Local Governments. Ranked among the university’s top professors by student evaluations, he earned the University Foundation’s “Exceptional Teaching” award in both 2023 and 2025.

Klein holds a pre-law Criminal Justice degree and an MBA from the University of Nevada. His career includes roles as global creative director at White Rabbit Group and communications manager for the City of Reno government. He served as a City of Reno Commissioner (2007–2011) and currently chairs the City of Reno Redevelopment Agency Advisory Board and District 15 National Student Advertising Competition, while serving as vice-chair of the Reno Aquatic Club Board of Directors.

His accolades include an Emmy Award for his work on the documentary Prescription for Hope: Overcoming Nevada's Opioid Epidemic, the 2010 Twenty Under 40 Award, University of Nevada Young Alumnus of the Year, and numerous Addys, Savvys, Aces, Marcoms, and Hermes for his advertising campaigns.
