Recognized as a 2023 Top Lobbyist by the National Institute for Lobbying & Ethics, Paul Klein stands out as an expert in government relations and public affairs, assisting political clients and candidates in navigating both policy and media landscapes.
In the last legislative season, Klein's lobbying efforts led to landmark achievements such as the passage of the nation's most comprehensive insurance reforms, securing a record salary increase for state police officers, the enactment of the Down Syndrome Information Act, and the allocation of millions in transportation funds for public charter schools. In addition, his consultancy on political campaigns has been instrumental in the election of numerous candidates to local, state, and congressional positions.
Before his roles at TriStrat and Voices & Votes, Klein served as the global creative director for international digital advertising agency White Rabbit Group, communications officer for the City of Reno government, and creative director at Klein Advertising.
Klein's academic background includes undergraduate studies in law and criminal justice from the University of Nevada, followed by an MBA. His public service includes a term as a City of Reno Commissioner from 2007 to 2011. Since 2005, he has been a board member of the American Advertising Federation, where he holds an Ethics in Advertising Certification. Additionally, he serves on the board of the Reno Aquatic Club and volunteers with the Red Cross.
His work in advertising and political campaigns has earned him numerous awards, including Addys, Savvys, Aces, Marcoms, Hermes, and an Emmy. Klein was also recognized in 2010 with the Twenty Under 40 Award and named University of Nevada Young Alumnus of the Year.
Klein also teaches as an adjunct professor at the University of Nevada, where in 2023, he received the 'Exceptional Letter of Appointment Award' for his outstanding teaching.
