Paul Kohlenbrener

With several decades of experience in the global professional services and human resources industry, Paul Kohlenbrener most recently worked as Vice President and Global Business Leader of ComPsych Corporation in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, he oversaw the employee assistance program (EAP) provider's daily global business operations and ensured that it's worldwide GuidanceResources programs satisfied the firm’s multinational clients’ needs. Before he joined ComPsych in 2008, Paul Kohlenbrener spent 25 years working at Mercer Human Resource Consulting, where he started as an International Analyst and rose through the firm's ranks, ending in the position of Worldwide Partner.

Dedicated to helping others, Paul Kohlenbrener serves as a Board Member of the Foundation for Health Enhancement, which is a nonprofit organization that aims to improve health care in the United States.

When not in the office, Mr. Kohlenbrener remains passionate about collecting antiques and knows the four key factors that dictate value: authenticity, rarity, condition, and provenance. An avid music lover, Paul Kohlenbrener has a wide variety of listening interests and throughout his life has attended too many live concerts to remember, including more than a dozen performances by Bruce Springsteen. Mr. Kohlenbrener also regularly supports most of the major Chicago sports teams, with his favorite athletes over the years being Paul Konerko, Michael Jordan and Walter Payton.
