BORN MAY 7TH IN LIMA, PERU - CURRENTLY RESIDES BETWEEN NEW YORK, PARIS, MILAN & MIAMI.

Paul L. R. Du Bois spent his childhood in various countries within South and Central America with his mother, a Fashion designer and his father, a professional Rally driver. Both had tremendous impact in his young life. His appreciation Fashion came to him by working closely with his mother on her designs at a very young age, helping her photograph & style many of the models she worked with. His appreciation for Photography came from his father, who showed him life is lived and found in the seconds -- the moments, preparation is everything to win, and a quote he has been know to have repeated in relation to his Photographic works : "It's not the Car, its the Driver".

Entering his young adult life, Paul received an opportunity to study abroad. He emerged himself in his passion of film and photographic arts, writing, architecture, and painting. After he graduated and travelled extensively/

His professional career began in advertising & film, where held he worked as a Creative & Art Director for various agencies, never putting the camera down. His career was given the opportunity not only to Creatively Direct projects, but to be in charge of production & development. Simultaneously, Paul began applying his experiences in Philanthropy, and supported various organizations.

Paul's photographic work has to date been a true labor of passion and artistic expression immersing himself in every aspect of the creative process. This full immersion and experience in the landscape of the Art in Fashion Photography makes his position in the collaborative process an important one when working on larger editorial and campaign productions. His enjoyment comes from the collaborative union with top artists Fashion to create an truly memorable image.

His desire to merge his creative visions into photographic visual expressions, and his deep rooted need for storytelling, are portrayed in his photographic works -- a canvas in the realization of his creative works & collaborations, as well in as his independent artistic projects.
