I've worked in the mobile software industry for over 12 years, split between London and Vancouver, developing a mix of middleware, apps and tools.

Vancouver was a period of gaining deeper appreciation of the outdoors and learn skiing, climbing, kite-surfing, kayaking and generally getting out to the wide open spaces. It also sparked a process of learning about where we are going in the world. Nowadays I'm exploring ideas around Transition, Drupal, semantic tech, permaculture and other things to see how we can make communities more resilient. With a bit of camping and walking thrown in.
