Paul Martin

Paul has specialized in GLBTI mental health for over 25 years. He is a former leader of Exodus an ex-gay ministry and now has a very high public profile as an openly gay man. He has twice been voted as one of Australia’s 25 most influential gays and lesbians, is a columnist for GLBTI press in Brisbane, has appeared on radio and television regarding GLBTI issues such as Australian Story. Paul has also been interviewed on various radio programs including being the "Gay Potentialist" on Joy FM, ABC’s Life Matters and Sunday Nights, he is regularly interviewed in the media such as MX magazine, written chapters of books and appeared in documentaries.

He has a diverse professional history including working in a maximum security prison and has been a leadership coach for the Southern States for Suncorp. He continues providing leadership development services for Queensland Corrective Services.

Paul runs workshops nationally and internationally on working with people who are same sex attracted for GP’s, Nurses, Christian leaders, Psychologists, Psychiatrists and counsellors and is an organizational consultant for corporations and government departments.
