Paul Mior and his brother Mark have been operating Abbotsford Group Inc., a remodeling firm for the past twenty-five years. The firm has seen prominent success and growth as a result of their hard work. Recently, Abbotsford Group Inc. has ventured into outdoor services such as pool installation and landscaping.

Mior excels in homebuilding and construction because of his attention to detail as well as his strong interpersonal skills. Paul’s skills and excellence have allowed him to work in the home building and remodeling industry for over 25 years, and he was recognized for his efforts in 2002 when he was named Renovator of the Year. Paul never meets someone he does not like, and this has led to numerous connections being made. Paul believes in the power of networking and keeping up with old relationships as well. Because he recognizes the significance of building relationships, Paul has emphasized the importance of treating potential clients with respect and care. This interest in benefiting those around him extends beyond his working life.

When he is not working, you can find Paul Mior giving back to his community of Toronto. He serves as a board member for Villa Charities, which specifically supports senior members in Toronto. Paul also served as a founding member of Vida Community Living Services, which was founded in 1986 and started with a small budget of $350K annually. When Mior left in 2011 after 25 years of service, the annual budget had grown to close to $22mil annually. Additionally, Paul Mior is active with the Greater Toronto Home Builders Association as well as BILD. In this capacity, Mior uses his expertise to consult other home builders on their way to success. This association represents all facets involved in residential construction. These include builders, renovators, suppliers and developers.

Paul Mior has been in the home building and remodeling sector for twenty-five years and is very interested in how the residential construction industry has changed over the past ten years. Specifically, Mior is interested in design trends and multigenerational homes. Mior has seen an uptick of multigenerational homes since the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and has begun catering his services to this new trend.
