Currently, Ph.D. Candidate in Agribusiness and Governance for Development in Tropical Knowledge and Management programme at Nova School of Business and Economics, Lisbon Portugal (http://www.novasbe.unl.pt/en/ )

During this advanced training, Paulo Guilherme is researching Rice Technology Transfer: from research to farmers in Mozambique, which will identify the main bottlenecks of knowledge transfer for smallholders and propose solutions to overcome the problem.

In Mozambique he is researcher of Crop Protection, Integrated Pest and Management (IPM) at School of Agriculture of the University of Lurio (FCA-UniLurio University, Fuculty of Agriculture Sciency http://www.unilurio.ac.mz/unilurio/ )

Previous he developped together with Plant Protection Department of Eduardo Mondlane University (UEM), Different Methods to control Coconut Beetle in Mozambique.
