Paulo has more than 10 years experience in the broadcast industry architecting interoperable solutions as well as developing software solutions and applications, with particular emphasis in project implementation and management.

From 2005 to 2013 while at MOG Technologies/MOG Solutions, Paulo was responsible for the entire engineering team, specifically in architecture design, time/resources estimations, scheduling project stages, and writing technical and functional specifications. Participated in the development of the company’s mxfSPEEDRAIL F1000 and the development of mxfSPEEDRAIL S1000, a renowned interoperable centralized ingest solution. Worked closely with NLE vendors, and particularly with AVID systems, which led to MOG's mxfSPEEDRAIL tight integration with Avid, Final Cut, etc.

During the 2012 London Olympic Games he was part of the MOG supporting team to the different MOG installations in London, supporting customers, such as NBC Olympics, OBS (Olympic Broadcasting Services), and RTP (Radio e Televisao Portuguesa).

Paulo worked closely in the development of MOG's MXF SDK's which became industry standards for MXF technology in a multiplatform environment.

Since July 2013, as a co-founder of mediagaps, Paulo is responsible for the architecture of the solutions developed by the company.

At mediagaps he is in charge of all software development. He works closely with our clients to understand and craft their requirements, as well as to provide consultancy and advice on how to translate their business needs to technical solutions.
