Paulo Acosta Cabezas

Born in El Salvador and grew up in the cultural city of San Francisco. Paulo is a Social Entrepreneur successfully blending culture and business since 1998. His love for visual arts, international travel and cultural experience, along with five years as a ballroom dance instructor contribute to his creative vision. He founded Mamá Art Cafe in 2004 and Cara y Cabezas Contemporary in 2008 to provide a visual culture and creative experience. An accomplished Art Advisor, Paulo has represented artists at elite fine art fairs in Miami Art Basel, Verge Art Fair 2009, NEXT Chicago 2010, and ASPEN Art 2012.

He has been recognized for his contributions as a cultural philanthropist and business innovator. He is committed for five years to the San Francisco Foundation-Koshland program to revitalize the social infrastructure in the Mission-Excelsior District community. He is also a Board Member of the San Francisco Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts and a Lifetime Board Member of New Eden Youth Projects. Currently, he is creating initiatives with Veteran Leaders to empower returning veterans by facilitating and providing arts programs as a healing process to reintegrate into civilian life.
