Paulo Winterle
Music Conductor, Musician, and Theologian in St. Catharines
I am a choir and orchestra conductor, music arranger, multi-instrumentalist, and theologian currently living in St. Catharines, ON. My main interests are: conducting choir and orchestra, arranging and performing church music in various settings, teaching voice and instruments, rehearsing a praise band and talking about theology.
Some examples of my work as a conductor are: this recording of J.S. Bach’s Cantata BWV 80, and this children’s Christmas concert by Letha Cole Crouch. On a more contemporary worship note, here is a concert that I have produced and performed with a praise band in Brazil, and here is another excerpt of a DVD that I have recorded as guitarist.
If you enjoy hymnody, here is an edited video of different choirs and Lutheran congregations singing a hymn that I have composed. This hymn won the national contest to be the official hymn of the 500th anniversary of the Lutheran Reformation, promoted by the Lutheran Evangelical Church of Brazil (IELB).
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Music with a major in Choral Conducting, and a Master's Degree in Theological Studies. Please feel free to contact me at any time. Thank you for stopping by.
