Paul Prager serves as chairman and CEO of Beowulf Energy, a New York City-based company that develops and constructs energy facilities. Since founding the company in 1990, he has guided Beowulf Energy in completing projects both in the United States and internationally. Paul Prager previously built experience in the energy sector as CEO of Direct Gas, a natural gas distributor and trader that he later sold to BP North America. His background also includes establishing and leading as managing director of Davco Oil, a trader of crude oil and related products.

Prior to beginning his career, Paul Prager spent five years in the US Navy as an active-duty serviceman. During his service, he earned his bachelor of science at the US Naval Academy. Mr. Prager continues to affiliate with his alma mater today as a leading member of the Academy’s Campaign and Joint Investment Committees. He also helps lead the US Naval Academy Foundation in his role as a trustee.

Paul Prager’s ongoing support of causes related to the military extends to his sponsorship of Flags for Heroes, an event hosted each Memorial Day weekend by the Easton Rotary Club of Easton, Maryland. His involvement in his community also includes his contributions to such organizations as the Talbot Historical Society, the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, and the United Fund of Talbot County.
