Hello, everyone! I am a UST Conservatory of Music graduate in Music Theatre under the tutelage of Assoc. Prof. Ronan H. Ferrer, DMA.
During my childhood, I was one of the kids who sang songs from a revival of a children’s TV show called Batibot. After that, I was part of the Performing Arts Committee from 2010 to 2011.
In high school, I once joined a short-lived band called Le FLOC. I became part of the High School Performing Arts Committee from 2016 to 2020 and was a choir member of the Community of Learners' CL Choir from 2017 to 2020.
Aside from my love of music, I also love dancing. I have been dancing since I was a kid and have danced in different genres, from jazz to jive to samba to ballet. I was part of the Community of Learners’ High School Dance Team from 2018 to 2020. I believe that dancing is a way of expressing emotions to people. With all my efforts, I received the Achievement Award in the Performing Arts (Theatre and Music) at my high school graduation.
During my college years, I was part of the UST Coro Tomasino from 2021 to 2024, where I performed with the choir in school events like the UST Christmas Concert. I also competed with the choir in the “Sing Tarlac Sing” choral competition and became a finalist.
Performing is something that I have wanted to do as a career. In the words of Friedrich Nietzsche, “Without music, life would be a mistake.” I believed in that and was thankful enough to continue my love for music.
