Holding a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Occidental College and a juris doctor from the University of California, Los Angeles, Paul Seeley works as an associate in the Business Trial Practice Group at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP in Los Angeles. Throughout his career, Paul Seeley has worked on everything from product liability cases to real estate disputes, but he largely focuses his practice on consumer class actions. Paul Seeley has represented clients in cases involving the False Advertising Law and commercial contract disputes, and he was part of the trial team that won more than $50 million on behalf of a client involved with a workers’ compensation fraud scheme.Possessing several years of experience, Mr. Seeley covers all aspects of business litigation, including pre-trial remedies, summary judgments, appeals, and judgment enforcement. In one such case, he participated in the enforcement of a $12 million judgment. He has also handled injunctions and anti-SLAPP motions, which protect the free speech and petition rights of Californians.Active in the firm’s pro bono work, Mr. Seeley helps with the adoptions of children who are in the state’s foster care system, and he received the 2012 Bob Gerber Pro Bono Attorney of the Year award for his work.
