Dr. Paul Spector completed his undergraduate education at Amherst College where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy. After earning his Doctor of Medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, Dr. Paul Spector took an internship at Overlook Hospital, a P&S; affiliate, training in both medicine and surgery. He then participated in Columbia’s psychiatry resident program and studied at Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research. For the first 15 years of his career, Dr. Paul Spector maintained a private psychiatry practice.
