Paul Timmins

Paul Timmins is the career services director in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Minnesota. He oversees career counseling services, credit-bearing career courses, on-campus interviews for students, and other services that teach students about finding internships and jobs that compliment their in-class education. He has served in his current role since 1999 and has worked in higher education for 20 years. Paul serves on the board of directors for the National Career Development Association. He previously served as president of the Minnesota Career Development Association and has also been chair of the University of Minnesota's network of career counselors. He received his BA in speech communication and marketing from the University of St. Thomas and an MS in student affairs administration from Indiana University.
