Paul Utomi

Trained as an actor and director, Paul Utomi is an award-winning actor and filmmaker based in Lagos, Nigeria.

Paul has appeared in television series, shorts, feature-length films and has written and directed a couple of short films. He is also a television presenter and a voiceover talent who has presented several episodes of breakfast shows and lent his voice to radio jingles, infomercials, audio books and documentaries.

Paul won the Best Actor Award from The African Film Festival (TAFF) in 2017 and was also nominated in the same category at the Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards 2017 for his role in "Family".

His independent project "What Lies Within" was released in 2017 and it won several awards including "Best Feature Film" and "Best Overall Picture" at the Abuja international Zuma Film Festival for 2017, it also picked up four awards at the Best Of Nollywood Awards (BON) in 2017 including movie of the year.

Paul is an avid reader, scriptwriter and fitness enthusiast.
