I started Roadmonkey Adventure Philanthropy Inc. to take you beyond: where you thought you could go; what you thought you could do; and how you think about the world you inhabit.

My background as a journalist for The New York Times gave me the big idea to take traditional adventure travel - aka going where everyman has gone before - and start over. What we created was adventure philanthropy.
