Steamboat Springs, Colorado is the quintessential place for outdoors lifestyle with class and culture.

It has taken my family and I awhile to return to Colorado land in Steamboat. I originally chose Colorado as home in the late 1993. My children were born in Fort Collins, another awesome community we were lucky to live in. I visited Steamboat Springs for the first time in 1997 with my three week old daughter and family.

Following the path in front of us, Kristen and I moved to Hamilton, Montana.

Montana is awesome. Tamarack trees, Ponderosa Pines, open water rafting in a thunderstorm, views of the Tetons from Big Sky, hot springs and campfires. We raised our kids there and returned to Colorado for the territory, communities, and great college system.

Steamboat Springs is our home. It has a lot of the characteristics of Montana, with steeper mountains, abundance of rivers, and smiling people. Few places lend themselves to having three National Wilderness Areas in less than an hour’s drive. Steamboat Springs is one of these places in Colorado.

Steamboat Springs also has great opportunities for me. New rafting areas, tall mountains to climb, and great sunsets. Focusing on out of town real estate buyers, I find myself helping many people through being new to town.

My family has seen new opportunities too. My kids have a great college system to grow within, My wife has found new friends and furthered her career.
