I have been taking 'pictures professionally' for well over forty years, highlights include having just a few minutes to photograph the complete Midlands Today team for the BBC; waiting many hours for an audience with the infamous Robert Maxwell; flying well over a thousand miles in a Chinook helicopter with just 'the pilots' and myself to rescue a sinking yacht through to dodging terrorists whilst I was running a private photographic safari alongside Lake Kariba in Zimbabwe. Photographing a myriad of semi-submersible oil rigs and off-shore production platforms in the North Sea was another really great on-going job. I've also worked with many famous people, blue chip companies and multi-nationals too. Since selling the major technical advertising agency I started some twenty five years ago, employing forty people, I am now in the very enviable position of being able to 'pick and choose' video work, photo journalism and charitable events I undertake - nowadays I am lucky enough to be able to major first on what interests me, rather than having to consider 'an assignments' financial worth.
