Creative Director at Stage Two, a small digital studio in Manchester, UK. I am an Interaction Design and Front End Development specialist. I've been designing and developing digital solutions since 2005. From enterprise level content management systems, such as SDL Tridion, to open source projects, like Wordpress and Umbraco.

As Creative Director, I oversee all aspects of design within the company. From In-house identity to Interaction Design Consultancy. Working directly with our clients allows me to understand their goals and user requirements, helping them to deliver a successful project.

I work best when armed with a pencil and paper, sketching out UI and interactions to visually articulate my ideas quickly. I find this works well with clients as they can understand my direction and thinking early on.

HTML, CSS and Javascript have been the major weapons in my arsenal, but I like to dabble with other technologies when an opportunity arises. My understanding of these technologies allows me to work with clients in designing more beautiful, usable and effective solutions that people will enjoy using.
