I am the author of Bouncing Back: From National Joke to Grey Cup Champs, the story of the Toronto Argonauts' rise to the championship in 1983 after 31 years of frustration and misery. It was published in 2013 to coincide with the 30th anniversary of that championship.

I work for Canada's National Newspaper Awards and I'm pursuing a couple of potential book projects. I have taught journalism at Ryerson University (where I was appointed the Rogers Distinguished Visiting Professor for 2012-13). I worked for The Canadian Press for three decades as a reporter, editor, national newsroom manager and senior executive specializing in human resources and labour relations.
