I have had a life with many stories to tell. It's too bad I am not the type to keep a diary of the most memorable experiences but I guess it's never too late to start. I will be turning 44 this August and have two kids and a wife, Joy Alexadria. Jack William Benjamin Rose, 6 years old and Heidi Kristen Summer Rose, 8 years old will have lives equally as interesting. Being raised in the country 20km from Grand Falls Windsor and exposed to so many customers staying at the chalets (Joy and own and operate Riverfront Chalets). New friends come and go and many return on multiple visits which are creating well rounded personalities in my kids. I always said that families who move a lot offer many advantages to counter react the difficulties with making and losing friends on a regular basis. Everyone I have ever met who were raised this way are always well rounded, interesting and very social people.

To get back to me and why I am starting this page is to start recording the things that have happened and are happening in my life. In addition to present and future experiences I have written several pieces about trips I have done and had published in magazines. I have also kept a few pieces from trips I have done which were not published that I will be recording on this site. I hope I become devoted to this idea and keep it updated as my life continues. This page will become my diary.

I have lived a life in the outdoors doing mostly self-propelled activities such as white water canoeing & kayaking, sea kayaking, rock climbing and some hiking (although I prefer to carry my gear in a boat rather than on my back). Although I still love water the self-propelled water sports I have been developing a keen interest in sea-dooing our coastline. My greatest passion these days though is snowmobiling. I love everything about it. The snow, cold, speed, challenge but especailly the freedom. The only activity that rivals sledding for freedom is flying. I absolutly love it and although I ride pretty well everyday during winter doing tours, I never get tired of it. Hopefully you will find my writing interesting and entertaining.
