Pauly Denetclaw

Hello, my name is Pauly Denetclaw and I'm originally from Manuelito, New Mexico. I come from a traditional Dine home. I decided to become a journalist after my first year of college at the University of New Mexico- Main. Since changing majors I have increased my GPA, became more focused on my career and learned a lot about the craft of journalism. I've had two internships, one at the Navajo Times and the other at National Native News. For a brief period of time, I was also a reporter for the Navajo Post. I have done work in print, web and radio writing. I'm currently a fellow for Generation Justice a non-profit organization looking to create well rounded journalists of color.
