Pavel Rodin

I'm a researcher in crossroads of various communication fields crisis communications, social media, intercultural communicatios, social mythology and health-risks communication.

Currently I pursue a PhD degree at the Department of Journalism, Media and Communication at the University of Gothenburg. Besides that I teach courses in organisational communication, rhetoric and cross-cultural rhetoric, media analysis, and intercultural communication. Moreover I am trainer in marketing and intercultural communications at InterAct (Göteborg).

From 2013 I am involved in a joint Swedish-Malaysian research project on health-risks communication.

I have been working for more than 5 years in the field of financial PR (regional and national bank's in Russia), journalism (editor and writer in the newspapers), and political communications.

My formal education includes Master degree in Communications (University of Gothenburg, Sweden), Master degree (cum laude) in Public Relations in Economics (Saratov's State Economic University, Russia).

2008-2009 - I served as a Vice-chairman of the Russian PR students assiciation.

Know English, Swedish, and Russian languages.
