When I'm not working with food, I dream about it. I dream about buying it, marketing it, producing it, transporting it from across the globe, and of course, having it. I'm a practicing cook, food nerd & aspiring comedy-cookery-talk show hostess. I'm fascinated by how food connects strands of history, geography, culture and business.

You needn’t be surprized when I tell you that the cashews you picked yesterday at Walmart were from a field 600 miles from where I am in India, and I picked them for you! I procure food for multinationals for a living, ensuring that it's safe and healthy for the communities. I make sure I travel as much as I can with it. Wouldn’t be incorrect to say that I have been on a food trail for the last 10 years.
