Pablo Avila

Pablo Avila is a photography student currently living in New York City. Originally from Lima, Peru, Pablo moved to New York City at the age of twenty one.
He graduated with a Bachelors Degree in General Psychology from Hunter College in CUNY in the Spring of 2011. During his college years, he worked extensively in various research projects related to social issues. His experience as a research assistant moved him forward to further his education and continue his graduate studies in Social Psychology which is his current educational goal.
Pablo currently works as an ePortfolio consultant at the Center for Teaching and Learning at LaGuardia Community College. His passion for teaching has evolved since he first walked in the classroom in 2010 to teach students how to develop their ePortfolio, a platform that allows users to showcase professional and educational work. This position has also motivated Pablo to pursue a career in the education field which complements his interest in social psychology and the psychology of education.
