Mark Pavlyukovskyy is a co-founder of Piper, a London based tech startup focused on teaching children to learn the fundamentals of hardware and software by building their own computer and then building avatars to play an RPG game.

He is currently a PhD Fellow in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Oxford, and before received a Molecular Biology degree from Princeton.

His last project was a non-profit project to bring raspberry pi computers to developing countries: Pi-Create. A partnership with Coursera allowed him to pilot his hardware in Kakamega Kenya, and establish the Kakamega School for Orphans as a Coursera Global Leaning Hub.
