Started my career in Telecomm. with Infinite TeleSolutions after doing (I know how I 'did') B.tech. from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak. Initially, my work involved site surveys, Installation and commissioning, and later on, I moved to drivetest and network optimization.... slogged it for an year...got so fed up of the 'always-on-the-move' job that I quit without having any other offer in my hands.
Now, I knew all the telecomm. jobs (for starters) would be like this only....So, I did CCNA and then sat-at-home-waiting-for-a-good-offer. But, all I got were offers for jobs worth 5-6K per month...and I said, heck, I can earn much more in a BPO..... vCustomer was the first BPO I appeared for (after graduating from colg :P)...n I got selected (in Dec'08) as Technical Support Engineer for a process known as Carbonite, which is a well-known 'online backup' company in US. It was at Carbonite, I spent more than a year of memorable time, learning most of my soft-skills.
In march '10, I got a call from Cisco Systems for TAC. That was a life changing opportunity for me.....and I made full use of it and secured the job at TAC-Cisco. I completed CCIE (R&S) in June 2013. Since then, I've been working\learning at Cisco along with having all the fun that Cisco and B'lore have to offer.
