Pax Dickinson

Pax Dickinson is the co-founder and chief technologist of Glimpse Labs, developers of an encryption based ephemeral photo and messaging sharing app. A strong advocate for network security and privacy, Pax is dedicated to developing web services that support users’ freedom of expression. With over twenty years of experience working in the tech industry, Pax is fluent in web application development and technical writing including Apache, MySQL, PHP, and Linux.

Before founding Glimpse, Pax was CTO of Business Insider, an Alexa top 300 web property. Pax ran all development and engineering for Business Insider’s web and mobile presence and during his tenure Business Insider grew site traffic sixfold, to over 200 million monthly pageviews and over 28 million monthly unique visitors.

In addition, Dickinson has fulfilled roles as Senior Web Services Architect at Cellfish Media LLC, OSS Developer at Guardian Digital Inc., and Senior Consultant at Guardian Life Insurance.

Pax lives outside New York City with his wife of fifteen years and his very cute dog named Cthulhu.
