Little Rock

Welcome to my blog where you'll find community events, stories in Arkansas, recipes, and articles regarding my family. As a journalist, active community member, and volunteer, I wanted an outlet to write additional articles that I believe viewers would find interesting and uplifting.

Many know me as a reporter and news anchor on THV 11 News on Saturdays and Sundays. I moved to Little Rock in 2008 from Springfield, MO after working at the Springfield News-Leader as an assistant multimedia editor. Before then, I was a radio news reporter at WFIU in Bloomington, IN. My very first job in news started at KGAN in Cedar Rapids, IA.

So there you go! I've worked in television, radio, and newspaper. This career has truly been a blessing and has given me the opportunity to tell thousands of stories. I've made people cry, laugh, and once in a while, I'm sure I make some angry. My greatest joy is when I make people smile and they share that story with others.

I'm also grateful for the awards I've received including the
Regional Edward R. Murrow in 2010 for Continuing Coverage of the Pulaski County Special School District's teacher strike,
First Place in 2011 from the Associated Press for Continuing Coverage of the Air Evac Crash, Second Place in 2011 from the Associated Press for my Enterprise Story of Charleston's Desegregation, and Second Place in 2009 from the Associated Press of Wilburn Elementary.

I hope you enjoy!

Sincerely,

Pam Baccam
